Sending a file

Help me. .i want to send a file from one terminal to another terminal . .how to do that???

Could you be more clear?
"Sending from one terminal to another terminal" especially...
What do you mean by a terminal?
If its a tty on the same box, you have above the answers...
If you are talking of vt or Xterm emulation on PCs connected to different servers then its not the same thing...
