IMO, you can't learn UNIX by the book, just as reading the CCNA books doesn't make you a good network admin. Download a few different open flavours of UNIX (Linux, *BSD, Solaris, ...), experiment with them on the command line, ...
And there's a lot of certificates abound in the UNIX world, at least one for each OS, and each level (beginner, intermediate, expert, and various specializations).
Yes. This forum. But again, I wouldn't worry about certification untill you have a basic grasp of UNIX in general, and settled on a flavour you're comfortable with.
