Downloading Unix..
I am not sure, yet i want to learn.. therefor ..

I want to put some Unix on my machine.. Unix 03, nut i have heard its not free and not open source..

please advise me on what to do..

Reading those documents driver mentioned will help you flesh out some details. What would help us answer you better is some more detail, vis, why do you want to learn UNIX, is it for career, personal challenge, programming environment, an application you want to use? What kind of machine are you going to install this on, i.e. what type of processor, how much RAM, how much HD space is available, etc. Then, will it be a dual boot machine? Will you be doing any type of graphical stuff with this machine?

well.. its more like a personal challenge..

It will be on a multi boot pc ( win, linux, UNIX). I got 120gb hd, 512 ram..

i want to make full use of its abilities.. grafical, non grafical.. developing etc..

Try downloading a BSD from linuxiso.org (I know... Linux, but they have UNIX too Smilie) Then burn the iso to a CD and install ;D
