Yes, except I don't need the first and next to last column of jg.table. Sorry for the confusion!

Tools Couple of steps
The paste command combines files, and sounds like what you need.
Then either cut, or more involved is to use awk.

So, as a first attempt, experiment with something like

paste jg.table cmonu.lst | cut -d" " -f2-6,8-10

# 10

Thanks, that worked for the most part! It still displays the first column of jg.table. How should I go about cutting that out? And how do I do the headers?

do headers first, with something like:

echo "field1 field2 field3..." >newfile.txt

then.
Code:
paste jg.table cmonu.lst | cut -d" " -f3-6,8-10 >>newfile.txt

note that I changed the -f2 to -f3 from my previous posting
