Easy question.. from a df -k command 205181344 = 200 gigs, right?

See topic.

I always have problems with the easy conversions.

bash-2.03$ df -k .
Filesystem kbytes used avail capacity Mounted on
/dev/vx/dsk/webtrend/webtrends2
364904448 205181344 158481976 57% /webtrends/production/wtm_wtx/datfiles

pretty much means 200 gigs used, right?

The kilo, giga stuff is based on 1024, not 1000

It's about 200GB closer to 195GB

I think for filesystem 1K is 1000. For memory, 1K is 1024.

No, it's still 1024. It just says 1000 on the box.

Try adding the -h option to df.
