df will not provide the answer you were asking for, but if you wanted to know how much space you have on _mounted_ filesystems then yes df would be the command your looking for.
mounted disks and complete disk geomitry (sp) are 2 differant things.
but as i said before df will showyou disk/virtual/networked filesystem space useage.
either way you got what you were looking for.
