UNIX for Dummies Questions & Answers

I try taip this script below...but i have got error.The error message is Input read error..Anybody can see whether my script have problem.Below this is my script:

I am guessing that some of the control characters are being misinterpreted by vi.
The ed command takes special script input commands, that meant to be used in exactly this situation. They are cryptic, but you can do almost anything. You will need to read up on ed, if you want to automate an editor this way, reliably.

A more conventional approach would be:
