Data A complete Unix Newbie

I would like to know if I should install unix over a windows 98. I want to use a home computer to host websites right now, but I know how much Windows likes resources Smilie

So, my question is... Should I get a Unix OS? If no, then do not read more and just reply Smilie

If yes, then, which one? How would I go about installing it? and Are there any *good* guides on the internet to this system?

I would like to thank you for reading this post Smilie

Go here...

I asked almost the same question and found that so had millions of others. Oombera gave a sarcastic but rather cool and informative post in reply with a whole heap of links in.

I suggest you check it out first. Then use the search facility, then if you still have questions, post a more succinct question.
