CSV files
Hello, I have been working with CSV files I need to know if there is a program or software that can convert pipe delimiter files to CSV or excel not sure how to do this? I tried to work from TextPipe Pro Evaluation software and I still can't convert. I need to add categories.

Using Perl you can do this.

First split the file content using the split function.
Then write that content into the excel sheet using the following module in Perl

Spreadsheet::WriteExcel

sed '/|/,/g' yourfile > newfile.csv

to change pipe to comma

it's possible to add the pipe delimited file directly to excel for example, you can specify the delimiter there
