Segmenatation fault

Segmentation fault

What can be reason behind the above segmentation fault error messages? How can i troubleshoot the issue?

Can you try this command?

1. what shell?
2. OS and OS version?
3. if you can run ldd on your shell:

ldd /usr/bin/[name of my shell executable]

Please post the output.

Shell is bash and the OS is centos 5.3. Can't post the ldd output command as i don't have access to the system currently.
