ftp by date filter
i would be grateful if someone could supply me with a shell script which performed a ftp but only retrieved files which had a created date greater than a specific date - is this possible with ftp?

i dont know about create date but you can deffinetly get it by last modified date.

do a ls on the remote host filtering out anything you dont want to see and then do a get on those.

perls Net::FTP would be a great example here.
iv posted various scripts on here that use it. you would just have to modifiy it some.
