Answers forum says point blank Cygwin-X is incompatible with W7. Not much in the way of
advice from cygwin.com themselves; either that or Google's confusing
Windows 7 with "Sesame Street was brought to you today by...the
number 7."
Meanwhile, this
Lifehacker article comes close to contradicting what MS Answers says. It's a mess.
I'd check those short forum threads. It's a start, anyway.
