Scrutinzer and dsmithstl,

Thanks for your replies.

dsmithstl: I wonder how it worked?! As mentioned earlier, the workaround is to run it using "ksh -x". But, one question here is, should there be some env. variable or something (I am lost for words here Smilie ) executed before hand?

scrutinizer: I am running this script from a command line. I am not running just that command from CLI.

Are you running your script with :

or with

localhost:~# ./myscript.sh

Is this line the very first line inside the script file?

#!/bin/bash


What is the name of the script file?

What exactly did you type to run the script?

What response did you get?
