dsmithstl: I wonder how it worked?! As mentioned earlier, the workaround is to run it using "ksh -x". But, one question here is, should there be some env. variable or something (I am lost for words here ) executed before hand?

scrutinizer: I am running this script from a command line. I am not running just that command from CLI.

Are you running your script with :

localhost:~# bash myscript.sh

or with

Code:

localhost:~# ./myscript.sh

Is this line the very first line inside the script file?

What is the name of the script file?

What exactly did you type to run the script?

What response did you get?
