Just use one of them instead of awk:

Code:
/usr/xpg4/bin/awk '
NR==FNR{a[$0]=$0;next}
a[$0]{delete a[$0];next}
END{for(i in a){if(a[i]){print a[i]}}}1' file1 file2

or:

Code:
nawk '
NR==FNR{a[$0]=$0;next}
a[$0]{delete a[$0];next}
END{for(i in a){if(a[i]){print a[i]}}}1' file1 file2

This code returns me the sum of the two files regardless of differences,
It seems that the other partner's code works correctly.
Thank you.

result.txt
Code:
Malaga
Cadiz
Sevilla
Hola
Huelva
Cordoba
Sevilla
Cadiz
Malaga

Try this:

Code:
comm -3 <(sort file1) <(sort file2) | xargs -n1

Dear friend ,

If you want to find the difference between the two files, you can use the following command

file1 content

Malaga
Cadiz
Sevilla
Hola

file2 content

Malaga
Cadiz
Sevilla
Cordoba
Huelva

Code:

 diff file1 file2

The output is

4c4,5
< Hola
---
> Cordoba
> Huelva

And also using the vimdiff filename_1 filename_2
you can see the differences in the two files clearly with highlighting the differece.
This is a better way to do
