gnome starting hangs

HI,

While starting gnome, gnome hangs and in console i am getting the error aborting " ORBit-ERROR**:wrong permissions for /tmp/orbit-root"

I given 777 to tmp folder and sub folder.

Waiting for valuable feed back.

Note the first fix:
