Updating the ODBC.ini file
Hi,

I want to access MS SQL Server database through Informatica which is an ETL tool installed on sun solaris Unix operating system. For me to access the MS SQL Server i studied that i need to update the odbc.ini file on Unix box. Could you please let me know how and where i can access this file and what should be my required entries in that file to access MS SQL Server. Appreciate your time.

Lightbulb Not sure if you got your file already
This might take some time,
but will find it if you can give it some time.
Try the /etc folder, have seen most of such config files for DW systems in this folder.

I doubt anybody on this forum can help with your second question Smilie.
Better try any Informatica forum, or the help manuals.Guessing them manuals, have it all.

I can not seem to figure out how to update the attached match.txt column 2 using update.txt. However, only the text before the period in updat.txt appears in match.txt.
