/var/run/dbus/system_bus_socket problem

Hello, i have a problem. i have a domain name hosted on a server and it goes very slow and sometimes down.
I looked on the processes running and on the netstat status and i discovered that each time there is a slowness or a downtime is caused by:

/var/run/dbus/system_bus_socket

many of these connections. less or more 20 or 30, usually they are 5.
Can someone suggest me what is that caused and if i can set a parameter or something to fix it?

dbus can be used for all sorts of things, it'd help to know what's making all these dbus connections. lsof may tell you that.

i dont know what make those connections thats why im asking here.

And like I said, lsof may tell you what's making them. It lists all open file descriptors by process, be they files, sockets, pipes, or anything. You have to run it as root.

Again, lsof. If you don't have it, install it.
