Please look at the below code in red colouerd text. I assigned the variable inside the if loop , when i printed inside the look in is showing correct value. But when i re assigned the same variable to file this is showing different values

The reassigment to a file file is place right after the if

Do you have any idea why the value get changes ?

What value is in $Output_File ? Does it contain space characters?
Where does $tt4 come from.
What loop?
What is the actual output from the script?

If this helps:
If there is a while loop on the end of a pipe (ksh) or a loop in general (old bourne shell)
variables changed inside those constructs lose any new value once the program leaves the scope of the construct.

But methyl is right: 'what loop?' 'what tt4'?
