Need information on Database in "Unix"
How can I find which database is installed in my Unix server ?

What makes you think there is one? Some one told you? UNIX boxes do not automatically come with database software. Some unixes like HPUX, for example, have a primitive simple database as part of the toolset, but these are not more modern dbms software like Oracle, Sybase, mysql, etc.

How can I find the database installed in my Unix server
Thats fine Jim. I too know, No Unix is come with Database software like Oracle.

My question is where can i check whether is any database installed in my Unix server ?

If any database installed how can i find it out in Unix ?

may give you some idea...

usually, installed software has a man page. What OS?

I couldn't find any thing on /opt.
