ok sorry for not supplying all the info im a total nube to this its running SCO UnixWare 7.1.3 and is on a HP proliant ml370 G3... the system is called Mercury and is a finance system..

DLPI = Data Link Provider Interface. Used with STREAMS based device drivers. It could be any OS based on SVR4.
