Webcam installation...

I have a webcam and I wish to have it installed under my Linux box (Slack) - it works fine under Windows (when I had it), and I kinda want it installed now. The problem is I have no idea what make/model it is - here is the information on it: http://www.argos.co.uk/webapp/wcs/st...roductId=46829
Also, I've never installed anything like this before so I don't want to do anyway. I've searched on google.com/linux for info on installing webcams, but no results really helped as they were directions for spesific requirements. Thanks.

Edit: After a lot of fuss I have found out that its called SmartCam 2.1 model M6215 - does anyone know what I should do next? Thanks alot!

And you can try these two sites - don't know if they will help or not - the first is for your webcam but I can't tell if it's for Linux! the second will give you info on what camera is supported with Linux (I believe they have the drivers there for download).

M6215 driver download

Linux supported webcams (you might be better off getting a new camera unless you know how to write device drivers)
