Data Sun ultra 5 "re-trying host configuration"

I just reciently purchased a Sun Ultra 5. I changed the network settings to work with my router (at least thats what I thought I was doing). After I rebooted I keep getting the message "Re-trying host configuration" over and over again.

Since this is during the boot up it never lets me get to login so I can try to fix the issue. I would like to go back and check my settings but I dont know how to get past this. Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you

press "stop + a" on sun keyboard to enter obp. from there enter "boot -s" to go to single user mode.

stop+a and boot -s

Thanks DukeNuke2, I tried it but Its still doing the same thing.
This is kinda what my screen looks like. I skipped over some of the release, and copyright stuff to shorten it a little.

Rebooting with command: boot -s
Boot device: /pci@1F,0/pci@1,1/ide@3/disk@0,0 Files and args: -s

SunOS release 5.7 xxxx
64bit [Unix (R) System V release 4.0

configuring network interfaces: ifconfig: mercury: bad address hme0.

boot from cd

Hiya again,
I tried booting from cd now its giving me another error message. This is what shows on my screen.

rebooting with comand: boot cdrom
Boot device: /pci@1f,0/pci@1,1/ide@3/cdrom@2,0: f File and args:
Cant read disk label
Cant open disk label package
Evaluating: boot cdrom
Cant open boot device

From there it starts booting from disk again and I get the re-trying host configuration. Thanks again for your help.
