Question Checking modified time of files
My problem is with the find command. After looking through the forum I've got -

find . -mtime 2 -name "*"

which gives me a list of all the files modified in the last 2 days.

How do I change this to list files modified in the last 2 hours?

Sorry if this question is already on the forum somewhere but I've been looking around for the last hour or so and have been unable to find it (although I've still learnt an awful lot!).

Although the complete answer is not there, it will give you the path to follow. You would probably have to write a script to compare "times" of the files - using the find command by itself I do not believe would work.

Actually the find command has a -newer option. And by putting a ! in front of it gets you very close to a psuedo -older option.

So I could "touch" a temp file using the manipulated time and then compare the files in question to this temp file using the newer option?
