You will have to check your man pages - I don't have a SCO system to check for you.
Start of man page for mailx from Solaris:
% man mailx
User Commands mailx(1)
NAME
mailx, mail - interactive message processing system
SYNOPSIS
mailx [ -BdeHiInNURvV~ ] [ -f
[ file | +folder ] ] [ -T file ] [ -u user ]
mailx [ -BdFintUv~ ] [ -b bcc ] [ -c cc ] [ -h number ]
[ -r address ] [ -s subject ] recipient ...
Note that it does have cc and bcc.
As far as how to do the command in a script or from command line, there are many ways:
[code]
#!/bin/csh
#
set defdir = "/usr/local/sysconfigs/daily"
set mailgrp = "`cat /usr/local/bin/admin-mailgrp`"
/usr/bin/mailx -s "Daily Snapshot" $mailgrp < $defdir/snapshot.today
exit
$ mailx -s"Test from `hostname`"
myreceipent@mycom.com < ./myfile
and see this thread for another way (see Perderabo's
post)
And if you want more info, search this site first for mailx and READ the man page specific to your OS.
