Any of the following will give you the information.

$ /usr/platform/sun4u/sbin/prtdiag -v
or
$ /usr/platform/`uname -m`/sbin/prtdiag -v

$ prtconf |head

two rules of thumb - swap should be equal to physical memory
- swap should be double of physical memory.
I've seen both rules used - the first for workstations and smaller servers, the second for database servers. It really matters on how much space you have and how much memory.

Once you get the info, you can check out the man page on swap and mkfile.
