Hi,

Please can someone explain me about the " perform agent " on UNIX .

There are many different Unix'es and many of them might have many different performance agents, which can run on them. You should try to be more precise.
Generally this sounds like a demon that runs on some Unix, collecting system parameters for performance monitoring, which might be send to some server that collects the info from various performance agents being installed on different Unix servers which are in term of the agent "clients".

There is a lot of products out there that work on a client/server model like this. Have a look at BMC-Patrol, HP Open View, Ganglia, etc...
