seems i'm at a loss without the complete firmware, wich is not public.

1) Use the firmware you have

There is also an option not using your router to send wake on lan packet.

You can issue wol via almost any device in your network, including smartphones.
Cheapest soc or really old phone with minimal setup should work just fine and be cheap/low powered.
