Thanks Jim! I'll give that a try later today! Smilie

I could swear I posted a response to this earlier. No matter -- I appreciate this, Jim. I hope to be able to work on it later today. I'll probably need some hand-holding though. The server in question is currently totally offline from any network. The only way I'll have to transfer packages to it is via DVD after downloading them to this laptop and burning one. The OpenCSW site seems to be network oriented. The "Installing without Internet access" instructions talk about downloading to another Solaris server and transferring from there. No mention of my situation of downloading to a Windows 10 laptop & transferring via DVD. Do you have any suggestions on that scenario?

Again, thanks for the info!

OK! I tried to install the OpenCSW Installer package using the pkgadd code from the Web site:
Code:
pkgadd -d http://get.opencsw.org/now /opt/csw/bin/pkgutil -U /opt/csw/bin/pkgutil -a vim /opt/csw/bin/pkgutil -y -i vim /opt/csw/bin/vim

And I get this error:
Code:
XXXXXXXX-DEV_219:root=> pkgadd -d http://get.opencsw.org/now
pkgadd: ERROR: Failure occurred with http(s) negotiation: <Unknown host>
pkgadd: ERROR: unable to download package datastream from <http://get.opencsw.org/now>.
XXXXXXXX-DEV_219:root=>

I believe that it's because our servers have restricted outside access. Any thoughts on how I can proceed?

Y'all have a wonderful weekend!

Just an additional note. I should be able to FTP to this laptop, burn the files to DVDs and transfer them to the server. Are the packages available via FTP?

Thanks!
