Move the files that have been found

Hi if I want to find some files and then mv them to a certain directory

How do I connect the find command and the mv command ? How do I refer to the files I found in the mv command ?

To give you a start, try reading about the -exec option of find command. Experiment with it and get back if you have more questions.

Hi thank you, I think that is part of what I tried before so I had

Code:
find . -type f -exec mv {} NewDirectory;

but it doesn't seem to be working, so the NewDirectory is in my current working directory as I typed the command, I'm not sure what went wrong.

Code:
find ./ -type f -exec mv {} newdir \;

I see, so I need the slash there,
Thank you very much !
