Enabling -t option for Syslogd process

Hi All,

I have a solaris box which runs syslogd process without any options. I need to enable -t option for syslogd to disable remote message logging. Can anybody give me some clues on how to do it by code changes.

Regards,

Here is how it has to be perfomed in solaris 10 :

Before solaris 10, /etc/default/syslogd file has to be edited to make changes in LOG_FROM_REMOTE. But in solaris 10, it can be done with the following command.

# svccfg
svc> select system/system-log
svc:/system/system-log> setprop config/log_from_remote = false

After this syslod should be restarted using the command from svcadm.

# svcadm restart system-log
