mailx help with settings

Hi all,

When i am using an mailx command to send an email to my work email(say
abc@company.com) I am getting the following mailer dameon error at /var/email

This is a MIME-encapsulated message

--l7OJ7XfN022568.1187982453/devas08.company.com

The original message was received at Fri, 24 Aug 2007 15:07:33 -0400 (EDT)
from localhost [127.0.0.1]

<abc@company.com>
(reason: 550 Host unknown)

----- Transcript of session follows -----
550 5.1.2 <abc@company.com>... Host unknown (Name server: mailhost.company.com: host not found)


Please let me know the required setting to be done.

Did you set up your /etc/resolv.conf file?

Can you let me know what should be the entry/syntax there?

Can you cut and paste the content of your current resolve.conf file?

this is what i have in /etc/resolv.conf file

domain company.com
nameserver 10.40.30.1
nameserver 10.50.30.1
nameserver 10.80.30.1
search ea.corp.company.com corp.company.com company.com


Can you please let me know what changes should i do
