warnings @ system start & shutdown

Hi,

I'm having this Ultra5 system with Solaris10 on it.
And when its booting, I get this warning 3 times and the system wait a considerable amount of time there before proceeding.
WARNING: add_spec: No major number for fp

And when its shutting down, I get this:
Shutdown: RPC: Program not registered.

Could someone please help me to decipher these messages.
Thanks in advance

Hi,

I got this info that the startup warning is actually coming from ssd.conf.
my ssd.conf looks like this;
# cat ssd.conf
#
# Copyright 2003 Sun Microsystems, Inc. All rights reserved.
# Use is subject to license terms.
#
#ident "@(#)ssd.conf 1.14 03/10/07 SMI"

name="ssd" parent="sf" target=0;
name="ssd" parent="fp" target=0;
name="ssd" parent="scsi_vhci" target=0;
name="ssd" parent="ifp" target=127;

The highlighted line is the cause of that WARNING message it seems.
I need to know what this "fp" means. Man page on ssd has no clue.
Could anyone out there got the answer ?

Thanks in advance !
