Losing IP config on reboot of Solaris 8

After a reboot my ifconfig -a has nothing but 0.0.0.0

have to reinput my IP and default route, what makes the info save?

Hey,

install al file under /etc with hostname.<your-device-name>, ex.
/etc/hostname.hme0. Write the hostname in this file, write the
ip-number and the hostname in /etc/inet/hosts.
When Solaris starts the script /etc/init.d/network will read this
files and set your devices and ip-numbers.

For routing edit a file /etc/defaultrouter and write here the
ip-number of your router.
