This sounds like a software issue with the software you're using though. There's no "zoom" function in CDE or anything I've seen on Suns. But I've never used AutoCAD on Sun so maybe this is AutoCAD related? If your monitor can do 1280x1024@85Hz and your card can do it too, then it shouldn't be a problem. You might want to see if there is something in the AutoCAD configuration for this? Smilie

I am pretty sure that its not an acad proble since I can view the same thing on my second crt( with an external graphics card).
BUt on main CRT I can't view the sae properly. moreover proble is with display only and Resolution which it is set to is not allowed by monitor and graphics card on the motherboard.

and I can't change it

Log out -

Do a Stop-A - this takes you to the OK prompt.

reset -all - at the ok prompt

This will resync your video card to your pnp monitor, and should solve your problems. (reset -r) could work as well, but reset -all will do it.

Make sure you log out first, and no one is logged into your workstation, since this is in effect a reboot, resync, flush, etc.
