I need some help to find out if processes are running on remote server or not. I could do 'ssh' to do that but due to some security reasons, I need to avoid the ssh & get result from remote server.

I am getting following service error on one of the sparc servers running solaris 10 -

$ svcs -a | grep "maintenance"

In Windows we can check the event viewer for entries 6005,6006,6009 to confirm the system down times, as in when it got down and when it came back up.
