UNIX for Advanced & Expert Users

i use
fedoracore
and i knew very little about unix i could not install my dial upmodem nad also could not make any connection in the system so pelase help my dear friends in creating a dial up connecti0on which is used by a telephone line and also there is no audio and video is not played in my unix os heard that u have to install some other codecs for that kindlyhelp me if any body have replies please send them to my mail address instead of posting here the replies u can send ur attachments also my emai l address is
