I would like to determine if a file is older than a particular date. I found that istat will let me see the date and time of a file older than a year, but I need to change the format. Could anyone help me reformat the following date to a variable (a one liner would be great).

Hii can anyone pls tell how to limit the max no of message in a posix message queue. I have made changes in proc/sys/fs/mqueue/msg_max

istat filename
shows all the file details like owner and group name.
But
i want to know, who has accessed the file last time.
As istat shows the name of owner of that file and name of the group.

Hi,
I have a SCO Openserver 5.0.5 server running RAID5 on the hp NETRAID-1M controller and it works just fine.

messages -- libbash library that implements a set of functions to print standard status messages
SYNOPSIS

DESCRIPTION
General
messages is a collection of functions to print standard status messages - those [ OK ] and [FAIL] messages you see during Linux boot process.
The function list:
printOK Prints a standard [ OK ] message (green)
printFAIL Prints a standard [FAIL] message (red)
printNA Prints a standard [ N/A] message (yellow)
printATTN Prints a standard [ATTN] message (yellow)
printWAIT Prints a standard [WAIT] message (yellow)
Detailed interface description follows.
indent
Column to move to before printing.
Default indent is calculated as TTY_WIDTH-10. If current tty width can not be determined (for example, in case of serial console), it
defaults to 80, so default indent is 80-10=10

n path=1, new dsp=fd064600 I have changed motherboard, tape drive, (2) processors, SCSI controller for tape drive, tape drive software, and memory. The only thing I have not changed is the hard drives. The system freezes up and does not back up. System runs fine during the day. The log time is around 7PM when this error occurs. Does this every 2-3 days. A reboot takes care of the lockup. The above message is on the console. I have Googled parts of the error message and seems to be pointing to a system BIOS and SCSI Symbios problem. Does anyone have any suggestions?
