Job Error
While running a script in an UNIX based system i came across with a job error 255.....does anyone knows what it means?

May be its a C program return code.

that's not it, i'm sure....i'm tired of searching the meaning of this error but i can't seem to find it anywhere...

This is an exit status, correct?

If so, bash defines this as exit status being out of range...

This return code can also occur when a program dies from an interrupt of some sort.

thks for your help but i finally figure it out !!! it seems that the program i use to run the script on HP-UX needs to have the sh command before the path.

e.g. sh unix-forums.sh

Otherwise it returns that error :S
