Samba does not connect to domain

Samba does not connect to domain
I have a samba server and a raid SAN which is actually running samba. Neither one lets me access anything on the samba unix side. I really do not know where to look anymore. there are no errors. When I try to connect to the samba server I get prompted with login and password repeatedly.

I would like to give you a hand, but I need to know more info:

- What version of Samba?
- Are you trying to connect from a Windows machine on the domain?
- What is your domain controller, UNIX or Windows, what version?

samba specs
Trying to connect to unix server from windows XP machines. I get the same result if I use one of my linux es3 boxes running the latest samba. The domain controller is a win2K network.

I don't know what version on Samba you have, but I will guest it is the last one. Did you authenticate your UNIX box using Kerberos on your DC?

Resolution
The resolution turned out to be some sort of corruption in my DC , created a new DC and authenticated with that DC without issues.
