Question rcs,sccs

I am not really sure whether i am posting this question in the right forum.....Can someone tell me why I should go for a rational Clearcase version controller when I can use the version controllers 'rcs' or 'sccs' available in UNIX. I want to know the advantage of Rational over these two. Also, I am allowed to use COMMANDLINE instructions ONLY, irrespective of what I end up using.
Please ASAP.

Yes I think you are in the wrong forum.

Look at this blog and this slashdot article.

From my experience.

If you are part of a corporation/organization, then you can go for ClearCase. Provided the number of employees is small. Else, it will be a major revenue guzzler.

My 2 cents.

Thanks Vino for the two links...they have been extremely useful.Decided that clearcase certainly has some advantages. I am saving all the 2 cents I have or can gather ;-)
