I am using Solaris 10 OS x86. I have brand new DVD wanted to mount the DVD and make the filesytem type as ufs instead of hsfs FS. And need to write the data.
I tried /etc/init.d/volmgt start
After this command Please find the attachment i get this screen all options are in disable mode. I am not finding the DVD even mounted. Please help me out.

For me 16x CD write speed is okay.
I have old hardware which was able to write DVDs at 1x, back in previous linux version.
Now, I dont get speed of less than 4x.
