FTP server Memory space

Is there any command to check Memory space of FTP server
using FTP command

i dont think so..

instead of that, you can setup a passwordless ssh connection, and execute the commands in remote server and get the output and parse it.

yes I tried using ssh command.
but i am getting
ssh: connect to host SERVERNAME port 22: Connection refused.
the server connects only via ftp

FTP is not shell. Ask your administrator to allow SSH.
