solaris and fedora core in one system
How can I keep Solaris 10 GA and Fedora Core 3 In the same machine.I have got IBM netvista machine,with 40 gb hdd and 128 mb ram and 1.6 gzh pentium processor.Give me the step in detail.How do I pertition?How can I boot up both? Smilie Smilie Smilie

Get a boot loader - see this thread - I used GAG and it works well for XP and freeBSD on two different disks. This weeks project is to load another Linux up on my second disk.

Fedora comes with GRUB - and it seems that the boot loader GAG can't load Fedora - but GRUB will boot up Microsoft Windows, Fedora, and FreeBSD with no problem. Just make sure after you boot Fedora, you change the /boot/grub/grub.conf time limit (timeout=x) as it was default to 5 seconds but by the time the monitor shows that, there is only 2 or 3 seconds left to hit a key.
