Hello,
I am testing sudo and I want to test it. Can anyone please let me know few commands (of course other than shutdown, reboot etc. as I can't reboot the box) on AIX that can be run by ROOT only.

Why is root, by default, a member of some system groups? I can't see any reason for this. Root has permission to everything and adding root does not give the group any more permission, so what's the point?

I'm trying to set a group of users to login to do a required super-user tasks without knowing the super-user passwd.
For example...a user popodude logs in as self with passwd..system accepts the password & then automatically asks for the super-user account passwd.
