In zsh and tcsh, surround an escape sequence
with %{ and %}

example="%{\033]0;%n@%m:%~\007%}

Thanks a lot budy, but it doesn't work with my tcsh even though the simplest one:

echo "%{\033]0;title\007%}"

The full string(include %{...%}) is printed on the screen.
Any idea? My OS is SunOS 5.9

Thanks
