Hello,
I have a huge file of over 2,00,00,00 strings in UTF8 format. I have managed to write a script in Perl which sorts them neatly as per their Unicode ranges.
However I am now stuck with a script which will pipe out all strings between 3 and 20 letters/characters. I am not very good at... (2 Replies)

How to use 'df' only to get the 'Available' space for a specific dir, and then compare with a specific file size using stat -c %s file.txt to see if the file actually can be copied into the dir. Is there any quick way to see if a file can fit into a dir? (4 Replies)

Dear All,
Please advise:-
I want to do a folder mapping from Sun Solaris Server to another WindowSytem. So that, my JSP Application can get read xml files.
Note: The folder is created at the WindowSystem,for example, "xmlshare".
Is it needed to install Samba for it to run?
