Question FTP is not transfering pdf files correctly
HI Experts,

I have following code to FTP all pdf files from remote (win sever) to Linux box.
Code:
 
function LsFiles(){
ftp -n -i -v $HT <<end_ftp
user $USR $PASSWD
cd $DIRNAME
ls "-lrt *.pdf"
bye
end_ftp
}
LsFiles > list_of_files.txt
function getFiles(){
ftp -n -i -v $HT <<end_ftp
user $USR $PASSWD
cd $DIRNAME
get $1
bye
end_ftp
}
for run in $(cat list_of_files.txt)
do
getFiles $run
done

I am getting follwoing log for FTP:

PHP Code:
227 Entering Passive Mode (204,138,63,91,48,96)
150 Opening BINARY mode data connection for Stmnt_5-31-2010.pdf (174022 bytes).
WARNING! 332 bare linefeeds received in ASCII mode
File may not have transferred correctly.
226 File send OK. 
When I open a pdf file, some of the part of pdf is unreadable. What could be the reason?

Be sure to send the binary command before download to tell the server to send the file in binary mode.

I included 'binary' command and it works fine.
