kill -l (but what are the numbers)

kill -l (but what are the numbers)
Hi I have searched all the man pages trying to find the numbers associated with the trap signals

i.e. trap 3 = trap quit
(got this from a search on related forum pages)



And I know that kill -l will list the commands but is there anywhere that the commands and the numbers associated with them are listed

Hello everyone, I have a process that I want to kill. I have tried kill-9 PID but it doesn't work. I have tried preap PID but it doesn't work too.
