remote dtfile help

Error remote dtfile help
ok i want to use a filemanager on a remote system. i am able to rlogin to the remote machine and set display to my display. i then run /usr/dt/bin/dtfile. the file manager starts up and it all seems to be working fine. but then i realize that while i am running this command remotely it is still showing me the file system on my local machine. this is not what i want to happen. does anyone know a way to allow me to open a file manager for a remote file system? thanks

if you start a remote dtlogin session, any commands you execute in the remote sessison shoudl execute on the remote machine.

my guess is you have something not set up properly.

yes i agree. the command is being executed from the remote machine. but it is showing me the file system that is on my local machine.
