I am running Solaris 10 on a V490. I have Dell EqualLogic SAN attached.
I would like to take full advantage of the iSCSI initiator.
I have a primary network interface and IP addresses for all four SAN ports. Since the four ports are SUN GigaSwift (legacy), I cannot utilize dladm, so I downloaded and installed SUN Trunking 1.3.
All configuration goes well until I actually bring up the trunked interface. At this point I receive the following message:

I cannot even ping the SAN until I down the trunked interface.
Is this something that needs to be configured on the switch?
Sorry, I do not know what kind of switches we have - Cisco is all I know...
Has anyone seen this before? If so, any recommendations? Thanx much!

When looking at the message coming from/var/adm/messages, do you know what the "Partner Key=0" is referring to?
Is this the key on the switch or the key on my solaris server from nettr?
Switch is Cisco 4500. Debugging on the switch shows some oper keys and
some admin keys in hex values, but not sure this has anything to do with it...

I think I have it resolved. Once the network switch was configured properly, I was testing with only one interface as the SUN Trunk.
This was erroring out. Once I configured the trunk with more than one
interface, all was good.

Sun Trunking does not come by default in Solaris 9 unlike Solaris 10 where we can use the "dladm" command to trunk 4 physical NIC interfaces together.

I have configured ISCSI SAN and one of my Red Hat OS can accessed/mount the ISCSI SAN disk
Now i want to access/mount another ISCSI SAN disk on SUN solaris. Is that possible ?

I have installed Solaris 10 10/08 on sparc machine. I would like to configure iSCSI on that to mount SAN Volumes. Is there any need to install any additional patches for iSCSI to work.
